An open web,
for everyone.

BurnBright is committed to making this site usable by the widest possible audience — including people with disabilities. This is a living document; we update it as we improve.

(Standard we aim for)

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1, Level AA — plus the Israeli accessibility standard (5568) where applicable.

(What's already in place)
01

Keyboard navigation

The entire site is operable by keyboard alone — Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Esc and arrow keys. Visible focus rings on every interactive element.

02

Screen readers

Semantic HTML, ARIA labels on every interactive control, alt text on every image, and proper heading hierarchy. Tested with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

03

Contrast & type

Body text meets WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1 minimum). Type scales support browser zoom up to 200% without content loss.

04

Reduced motion

Honours the prefers-reduced-motion system setting — the 3D phoenix and decorative animations pause for visitors who prefer less movement.

05

Bilingual & RTL

Full Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR) support, including reading direction, font shaping and cursor behaviour. Toggle in the top nav.

06

Responsive

Designed and tested at 375, 768, 1280 and 1920px. No content is hidden behind hover-only states; every action is reachable by touch.

(What we're still working on)
  • ·Skip-to-main-content link on every page
  • ·Captions for any future video content
  • ·Periodic third-party audit (target: quarterly)
